Who I am

My name is Sam, and I am the artist and person solely responsible for everything on this site. However, I do work with a company to print the canvases and assemble the diamond painting kits, so I will need to share your shipping and contact information with them. All information is used strictly for fulfilling orders and contacting you about any orders made on the site. There is also a chance I will use your address to send you other promotional materials or thank you notes in the future, but as of now, it’s just to get the design to you. I don’t keep any other information.

Comments

If visitors leave comments or reviews on the site, we collect the data shown on the from, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided by the Gravatar service to see if you are using them, which will give your user profile image and links to their page. Their service policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

After approving your comment or review, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment or review.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (such as EXIF GPS information) included. I will try to strip all of that information from them when I catch it, but other visitors may be able to download and extract any location data embedded in the images on the website if they really try hard enough.

Also avoid any identifying information in the images, such as your name or address. If you are uploading images, crop the images or black out any identifying information, and if I see anything like that, I will do my best to edit the image to conceal it, too.

Cookies

If you leave a comment or review on the site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in all of your details again when you leave another comment. The cookies will last for one year.

If you visit the login page, it will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, it will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. They may collect data about you, use cookies themselves, embed additional third-party tracking, or monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website (such as Facebook or Twitter).

Who we share your data with

The only information we share is the information needed to complete your order, such as sharing name and shipping address with the company that creates the kits on demand. If you request a password reset, your IP address is also included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on the website, we store the personal information provided in the user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your order information, such as what you have ordered and where it was shipped to, is also stored for future reference, but it is only used to get your order to you and possibly for promotional material in the future, such as emails or thank you cards.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I have about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep fro administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through a third-party automated spam detection service. Personal information to handle your orders may be provided to the company that produces kits on demand.
