I love isometric art, I love cats, and I love street scenes of life in Japan. So I thought I would combine them all! I’ve done a few different buildings of regular art, and I’m slowly getting to pixel them up for diamond painting now, too! This is the one I was most excited for, and it came out just so perfect I’m in love, and I hope you are, too.

The little white cat runs his own little ramen shop, with his tabby striped customer. The signs along the top edge are the most popular kinds of ramen in Kyushu where I live – tonkotsu, miso, or salt, along with some gyoza or beer for a side dish. This is the traditional way you’ll still see most smaller ramen shops display their offerings – hand painted wooden blocks with the type on them. The blue tiled roof is a common sight here in Kyushu, but seems to be rarer in most other parts of Japan, so it’s nice to get to infuse a bit of my home in the art to share with you, especially on the sparkling sunset background.
