I absolutely love taking my rough sketches and outlining them to create coloring pages. I dunno why, but there is something really relaxing about just drawing simple lines but still working with various line weights like I love to do. It’s low commitment – I’m not doing this for a huge, final illustration, or to use to be pixel art designs later. It’s just to draw. No colors to worry about, either, just what I’ve always loved – ink drawing (except now it’s digital).
I also love to share these designs with people. I’ve done tons of them in the past, and I’m slowly pulling them from my old laptop and iPad, and as I do, I’ll post them here for you to print off and color on your own.
I know that coloring pages have been taken over by AI just like everything else artistic it seems, and finding art by actual artists is hard. So whenever I make a new design, I’ll put it up here for you to print and color and know that it’s real art by a real artist. And if you appreciate them, consider ordering a kit to support me, or contact me if you want custom art commissioned. Every little bit warms my heart and keeps me working on new stuff, and living my life in Japan while I still can.
