Most of my designs are either Japanese inspired or anime/video game fan art, but I had to share this story:
A friend was really confused that this book showed up out of nowhere on their porch. Since they live far away from anyone who would do something like this, they were really, really confused.
It turns out, their brother found someone in that town to drop the book off in the middle of the night, knowing their sibling gets up early for work and there would be no one around.
Family and friends all got a text asking “WTF am I dead?!”
Sibling silliness: win
By the way, you can read some of the information in the book here on the wiki

I started thinking of the movie more and more and had a wave of nostalgia. Can you believe it came out in 1988?
Then I realized how old I am. It doesn’t help that I just wrenched my rotator cuff and have been unable to really move my left arm for the past few days. I’m walking around like a T-Rex, and I certainly started to feel like a dinosaur.
So why not embrace it? The book seemed fitting to design for a diamond painting that is about a poster size (30cm x 45cm) of the book cover. It was at least something I could do while not feeling too well and being unable to really do anything while this heals.
Now I’m thinking of doing a bunch of fictional book covers. What do you think? Any ideas on what to do? I’m thinking I might do the Hitchhiker’s Guide, but I’m not sure on other books so any ideas are greatly appreciated!
